MHLA announces 2021 Legislative Committee; Lodging Members invited to join Committee Calls

We are pleased to announce Voting and Advisory Members who have been named to the MHLA 2021 Legislative Committee.  Click here to view Committee Members. This group will guide the Association’s position and actions on proposed legislation on behalf of Maryland’s lodging industry through a unique virtual legislative session.  The work we have ahead of us is significant, more so than ever given the continued detrimental effects of the pandemic on our industry.  We are grateful for the members who are donating their time and expertise as active members on this important committee.

For the sake of transparency and information sharing during a fast-paced session with much at stake for hotels, MHLA member hotels and lodging corporations are invited to listen in to weekly legislative committee calls.  They will take place throughout the Maryland General Assembly Session which convenes January 13, 2021 and adjourns “sine die” on April 12, 2021.
