2026 MHLA Annual Meeting
On Thursday, January 8, 2026, members of the Maryland Hotel Lodging Association (MHLA), including general managers, industry associates, partners, and vendors from across Maryland’s lodging industry, gathered at the DoubleTree by Hilton Columbia for the 2026 MHLA Annual Meeting & Member Appreciation Breakfast.
Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County served as the Premier Event Sponsor. During the meeting, the 2026 MHLA Executive Committee and Board of Directors were approved and presented, and the passing of the gavel took place as MHLA welcomed Donnie Sutton of the BWI Airport Marriott as the incoming Chair. The 2026 MHLA Legislative Committee was announced followed by a state legislative update from MHLA lobbyists from Boston Plaut Attorneys.
Guest speakers included Rosanna Maietta of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) and Mac Campbell of the Baltimore Convention Center. The 2026 Ambassador of the Year award was presented to Patrick Miner of the Courtyard Baltimore Inner Harbor, and MHLA announced its four Platinum Partners for 2026 Ecolab, Maryland Office of Tourism, Sunlight Energy Group & Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County.
