MHLA Names Patrick Miner as 2026 Ambassador of the Year

Association Updates,

Each year, MHLA announces its Ambassador of the Year at the Annual Meeting and on January 8, 2026, the honor was awarded to Patrick Miner, General Manager at the Courtyard Baltimore Inner Harbor.

MHLA Chair Donnie Sutton made the following remarks:

Many who know Patrick understand that he is a true connector within the hospitality community. He thoughtfully brings new sponsors and Allied Members to MHLA, ensuring each relationship is mutually beneficial and aligned with the Association’s mission. He goes out of his way to welcome new General Managers to the city, personally introducing them to MHLA and facilitating meaningful connections.

He is a huge supporter of the Association’s signature events, both behind the scenes and as a welcoming Board representative at each event. He is typically the first to arrive bright and early for the Annual Golf Tournament, so he can be there to help with set-up and greet golfers and sponsors upon arrival. Patrick has served on the “Stars of the Industry” Awards Committee for many years and will be serving as Chair again this year. His passion for employee recognition has been instrumental in growing the event to record levels of attendance, sponsorship, and industry engagement.

Through his leadership, integrity, and commitment to bringing people together, Patrick has made a lasting impact on MHLA and the industry, making him highly deserving of this award.

We wish to congratulate Patrick and sincerely thank him for being among the Association's best ambassadors.
