The Maryland Hotel Lodging Association (MHLA) is thrilled to announce the 35th Annual MHLA “Stars of the Industry” Awards, submissions are now open. This event will be celebrating the outstanding contributions of front-line hotel employees and managers across Maryland. These exceptional individuals have gone above and beyond in delivering unforgettable experiences to guests and making a real impact on their communities over the past year.

New & Improved Selection Process: For 2025, winners will now be selected at the property level and submitted to MHLA in their respective award categories.
A Celebration to Remember: All winners/Stars will be honored at the “Stars of the Industry” Awards Luncheon on Friday, April 25, 2025, at The Hotel at The University of Maryland. This will be an unforgettable midday event, where every winner from each property will take their moment in the spotlight!
Glamour & Glitz: All winners will enjoy a Star-studded experience with a “Walk of Fame”, group photo opportunities– including a NEW “Wall of Fame” to capture the celebration with your fellow winners.
Show Off Your Star Power:MHLA Member Property will receive a plaque to proudly display at your hotel, honoring your 2025 winners!

Recognition for ALL Stars at the "Stars of the Industry" Awards on Friday, April 25, 2025, at The Hotel at The University of Maryland. All winners/stars from each property are expected to attend the event to have their moment in the spotlight.
Enjoy the red carpet, star-studded experience, including a Walk of Fame and group photo opportunities – including a NEW “Wall of Fame” to capture the celebration with your fellow winners.
Every participating MHLA Member Property will receive a plaque to proudly display at their property, honoring their 2025 winners!

DEADLINE: March 10, 2025 – Each property must (1) submit winners and (2) register winners for the luncheon by the deadline of March 10, 2025.
Eligibility: To submit winners for your property, you must be a current MHLA member hotel in good standing.
Category Limits: Each property may submit one winner per category, with a maximum of 8 winners total, per property.
Important: Be sure to submit your winners and register to attend. Winners must be registered for the luncheon in order to receive the following recognition:
Inclusion on plaque listing all the property’s 2025 winners (1 plaque per property and 1 winner per category)
Individual Certificate of Recognition
2025 Winner’s Pin & Medallion
Name announced during “Walk of Fame”
Photo opportunities for winners and hotel groups - including the NEW "Wall of Fame" with all winners' names displayed
